This design was a presentation drawing created by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1927 as one in a series of twelve seasonal themes for Liberty magazine covers. The magazine thought all twelve of the designs to be too abstract and radical and never published the images. The series included abstractions that are well known to fans of Frank Lloyd Wright, including March Balloons, May Basket, July Fourth, and December Gifts.
