The centerpiece of the Martin House is the spectacular art glass mosaic for the entry fireplace conceived by artist Blanche Ostertag in collaboration with the firm Giannini and Hilgart.
The design follows Wright’s philosophy of organic abstraction by taking the characteristics of the wisteria vines growing on the historic property and transforming them into a graceful and aesthetically beautiful composition in glass.
