Frank Lloyd Wright designed numerous art glass windows, skylights, and laylights for the Darwin D. Martin House, some of which are artificially illuminated from behind.  Both in the daylight and at night, their reflective and translucent properties are particularly evident in the horizontal ceiling planes.  They seem to de-materialize as light penetrates the envelope of the house.  The square and rectangular art glass patterns mirror the geometry of the modular floor plan of the house, as is represented in this product design.

PROTECTS SURFACES-Place your hot casserole dishes or pans on this Trivet to protect your surfaces from burns and damage. Can be used on countertops or on your table.

CORK BACKING-Each Trivet has an attached Non-Skid Cork Backing. Cork backing assists in keeping the Trivet stabilized when in use. Cork backing also protects your surfaces from scratches and stains.

DURABLE-Trivet is made from strong durable ceramic stone. Stone absorbs heat and distributes it throughout the Trivet to keep from damaging your favorite pots and surfaces.
